About CSE Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a Cornerstone department of this Prestigious Institution, Kallam Haranadha Reddy Institute of Technology which started in 2010 at the time of inception with an intake of 60 B.Tech. seats/students.

The department of CSE stands distinctively known for its commitment to excellence in Education, Research & involvement in Community service. Since its beginning, the Department has been dedicated and successful in preparing students for this dynamic and ever-evolving field of Computer Science providing a comprehensive education that spans from fundamental theory to cutting-edge technologies.

Over the years, the CSE Department grew to an intake of 540 for the B.Tech programme & 120 intake for the Diploma Programme beside One M.Tech programme.

CSE Department has 44 Faculty of whom 12 are Doctorates and 8 are pursuing Ph.Ds in various reputed Universities.

CSE Department has 9 dedicated state-of-the-art Laboratories with more than 270 systems beside a dedicated Computer Centre, Research Centre, and Project Lab facilities for UG and PG students.

The strength of the department lies in its qualified faculty, specialized laboratories, supportive staff, and motivated students. Together, they contribute to an active and inspiring academic environment.

Students of the department have excelled by securing admissions into national institutes and foreign universities for higher studies, as well as placements in leading companies. The department has also signed MoUs with reputed organizations to enhance training, research, and placement opportunities.
