Department of Information Technology

The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2019. The department started the B.Tech UG program with an initial intake of 60 students. In 2024, the intake was increased to 180. Since its inception, the department has provided excellent infrastructural facilities and state-of-the-art laboratories, fostering a productive teaching and learning environment for engineering aspirants.

The department conducts various training programs for both students and faculty members in emerging areas of technology, in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation and reputed EdTech companies.

The Institute is recognized as a local chapter for organizing NPTEL certification courses. This platform helps students and faculty enhance their knowledge, earn credits, and receive IIT-certified credentials in their fields of interest.

To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department is actively pursuing MoUs with various IT industries. In addition, we conduct training programs focused on technical skills, personality development, and soft skills to nurture employability. These efforts result in excellent placement opportunities with top-tier multinational companies.
