Founding Vision and Purpose
The founder members of the Society, primarily esteemed businessmen, share a profound belief that the future of India is shaped within classrooms. They envision education as a transformative force essential for fostering peaceful and cooperative coexistence among all human beings.The members assert that national and international understanding can only be cultivated through the power of education. Guided by this vision, the founders engaged in thoughtful deliberation and established the “Kallam Academy of Educational Society.” The Society was officially registered on January 17, 2006, under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 35 of 2001, with Registration No. 24 of 2006.
The Birth of KHIT
In an era of information, where science and technology are pivotal to societal progress, their rapid evolution demands institutions that nurture skilled professionals equipped to meet these challenges. Recognizing this need, Sri Kallam Haranadha Reddy, Chairman of Kallam Group of Industries, founded the Kallam Haranadha Reddy Institute of Technology (KHIT) in 2010 under the aegis of the Kallam Academy of Educational Society.Located in a serene, green campus approximately 10 kilometers from Guntur on NH-5 towards Chilakaluripet, the institute offers an ideal environment for learning and growth.
