The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) was established in the academic year 2010–11 with an initial intake of 60 students, as one of the core engineering programs at Kallam Haranadhreddy Institute of Technology, affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK).

The department is accredited by NBA, reflecting its commitment to quality education and continuous improvement. It is supported by a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty members—many holding doctoral degrees and several pursuing their Ph.Ds.

The curriculum is carefully designed to cover core subjects such as Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, and Renewable Energy.

Students benefit from a strong practical learning environment through modern, well-equipped laboratories and advanced simulation tools. These resources enable them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and develop essential research skills.
