About Department

Thanks to the un-compromising vision and untiring efforts of the founders. In KHIT, the Dept of Management Studies was started in the year 2019. The Department is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and is approved by AICTE with the intake of 60. Our programme is designed to prepare students for successful careers in management and entrepreneurship.

The Department of Management Studies presently offers 2-Year Full-time P.G. Degree Program in Business Administration with three broad Specializations (Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing) leading to the award of MBA Degree from JNTU University. The primary objective of the Department is to train young men and women for Management positions in Industry, Business and Government. The Department lays emphasis on an integrated approach to Management with a focus on different functional areas, in addition to the core courses, in order to impart overall competency in Management necessary for accepting challenging responsibilities in the real world context.

Our College has tie-up with different National and International companies to provide internship and competent placements to Management students during their study program. The Department of Management Studies in our College is one of the best Departments offering this course in this region and all the faculty of the Department is well qualified & self-motivated. The team of faculty led by Dr. SK.IRSHAD, MBA., M.Com., PGDTTM., PhD, will be in continuous pursuit of research and will conduct many useful and relevant student meets, seminars, industrial study tours and expert lectures for the benefit of the students of the Department on a regular basis.

The Faculty uses effective pedagogic skills that include classroom lectures supported by Audio Visual Aids, Guest Lectures to give a touch on reality, Group Discussions, Seminars, and Case Studies to make the learning effective and comprehensive. The Department functions in an environment conducive for high academic excellence, high discipline created by the commitment of the college management and the academic and administrative competencies of the successive Principals.
